Virtual Centrex control panel
You use the Control panel to manage your 'Virtual PBX' (local exchange). This allows us to provide a highly configurable phone system with minimum intervention. All changes made become active within a few moments.

The central feature of the Control panel is the "Define Extensions" page. On this page your internal extension plan is defined and you create and control the users whom are able to access your virtual PBX:

Clicking on a particular extension allows you to define a number of other features for that particular extension. These include PSTN access, the outbound caller id for calls made to the PSTN, voicemail settings and "follow me" type call diversion (to PSTN or other extensions/sip addresses).

The system also supports a wide variety of hunt groups so that telephones may be arranged to ring in sequence or simultaneously.

Forwarding and "short cut" options can be defined for frequently dialled numbers:

One of the most important features of the service is its seamless integration with the public telephone network. As such, phone numbers can be mapped to internal extensions and hunt groups via the "External Numbers" page.

Initially, all numbers are set up on a "pre-pay" basis and must be "charged up" via a credit card payment. However, once a direct debit mandate has been put in place, it becomes possible to make a number be "post pay" and calling becomes unlimited.

You can use the "view my bill" facility to check call logs in realtime before the monthly VAT invoice is raised:
